Not all members of the club could make it that day. We missed Silvia, Seva Ram and Maryam.
While most of my year long program, The Unfuck Your Business Club, is done through zoom and phone meetings, we have 3 Space to Create Days where we come together and work for the day on our various projects.
We started the day with an exercise to discover the limiting beliefs that keep us in our small box. Mine is some version of "I gotta get it right."
I limit myself by thinking there is a right and wrong way to do things, and if I'm not sure how to get it right, I might as well not try. This comes up in all the silliest ways for me all the time, but once I identified it, I could just see it and let it go more quickly instead of letting it stop me.
In that same exercise, Alison got unstuck on her need to hire someone to help her with all the details of opening her new wellness center in Woodbridge called The Cove.
She left knowing that she needed to hire, and within a day or two had found the assistant she needed, and things started to move forward much faster and easier.
It's absolutely amazing to watch how quickly things can work when you get unstuck!
Loneliness is the WORST! A huge benefit of this program is being part of a powerful group of women all going for it together!
Being together in a space and getting to share our journeys, bounce ideas and help each other grow was magical.
The Unfuck Your Business Club is my FAVOURITE program for many reasons.
Here are a few:
1) Nothing beats community. Having like-minded people on the same path as you is the best antidote to self-doubt, wheel spinning and playing small.
2) The members are incredible! The wealth of knowledge, experience and connections in the group is unbelievable.
And the generosity!
Everyone loves to help each other, whether it's with a referral, tips and tricks, sharing their experience or knowledge or just a pep talk to help someone on a day when the shit has hit the fan.
3) It's a work in progress. I purposely set up the structure as quite "bare bones" so I had a lot of room to create what the members need.
When I see a few people struggling with building a network or succeeding at sales calls, we will plan a specific group zoom meeting on those specific topics.
At the same time, we have 2 group zoom meetings each month that are a "free for all" to share whatever you're dealing with at the time as it comes up.
4) The mentors! We have 3 members who are mentors each in a different specialty. They host special group meetings, offer tips and otherwise help guide the members through their journeys. They ROCK!
5) The incredible results. The support of this club WORKS!
One member created a network of 66 local women in her target market in just 24 hours!
Another went from a yearly revenue of 240k to being on track to do over $1 million by the end of the year with a few simple tweaks to her business model.
Yet another has hired her first assistant and is working on getting lots of work off her plate so she can move to the next level of sales and marketing.
