Introducing the Ladies Creative Collaboration Society
Collaboration with other women entrepreneurs has always been a huge part of my success. It's a chance to share knowledge, resources, energy and audiences while coming together to create events, workshops, markets, shops, masterminds and so much more.
Working with my clients, I notice that a lot of women entrepreneurs would love to collaborate but they don't know where to start, where to find partners or how to make the partnership a success.
Out of this need, the LCCS was born! This is a place where you don't need to be shy to ask for help. We're all here open to collaborating and creating something new- like magic! - where there was nothing before.
What better place to host our meet-ups than at Kingi's place Peach Berserk Art Space? Kingi was my first collaborator in business, and we did countless things together over the years. It made things affordable and easier - and most importantly it made them so much more fun.
Here's an example: We collaborated on a press release to celebrate the opening of our new shared store in Yorkville.
We split the rent and the staffing and were able to each have another retail space at half the expense, risk and work - plus this awesome article to tell the world about it!
This was way back in 1999, and we've had many, many successful collaborations with each other and with other people as well!
